Trojan Cup Set To Benefit Troy Golf

Fans and supporters of the Troy University Golf Program will have an opportunity to show their support of the Trojans on August 24 at the first Trojan Cup Tournament.

The event, which will be played at Troy Country Club with a shotgun start at 1 p.m., will feature four-person teams who will be joined by a member of one of the Troy golf teams to make a fifth.

Scoring for the tournament will be on the Modified Stableford System. All players will hit from the tee and, after the team chooses the best ball, each player will play out the hole from there with their own ball. The team score will be the total of all five players.

The cost to enter a team of four is $800 and hole sponsorships are available for $100 each.
