Sun Belt Football Magazine Set For Debut

Entering only its ninth season of football, the Sun Belt Conference is the torchbearer for all leagues that hope for immediate success. In 2008, for the third time in eight years, two Sun Belt teams received bids to postseason bowls. Florida Atlantic etched its name in the history books, becoming the first SBC team to win back-to-back bowl games. As league champions, Troy went to the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl in 2008, a year in which the Sun Belt had four bowl eligible teams.
Detailed feature articles on all nine Sun Belt Conference teams will be included in the publication. The venture with SportsUnlimited will be available in late August.
