Troy Shows improvement at Jaguar Invitational

After a rough first round, Troy improved as a team in the second round and finished in a tie for 16th at the USA Lady Jaguar Invitational.
Troy finished the first round with a team score of 328 but improved in the second with an overall score of 321.
While Troy didn't play up to par as a team, It was a great day for sophomore Annelies Anderson who finished in a tie for 12th out of 98 competitors.
Anderson played well during her second round where she posted a score of 73(+1) which was tied for the second lowest of the tournament.
Danielle Skipper placed the second highest score of the tournament for the Trojans finished with a combined score of 164 (+20) putting her in a tie for 60th overall.
Kaley Branton also played well, finishing just one stroke behind Skipper with a score of 165.
Troy will have a couple of weeks off before they head to the Samford Women's Collegiate on March 15 in Birmingham.
