Troy Athletics Honors Fall 3.0 Club Members

At halftime of the men's basketball game on Thursday night, Troy University recognized 182 student-athletes by inducting them into the 3.0 Club for outstanding academic performance during the fall 2008 semester.
The 3.0 Club began in 2000 with the recognition of 69 student-athletes. The number of student-athletes recognized annually has increased, with this year's number representing almost 45 percent of the student-athlete population.
The group of student-athletes was given a standing ovation by the crowd at halftime of the Trojans 85-77 victory over Arkansas State at Trojan Arena. A complete list of the student-athletes recognized for academic excellence by Chancellor Hawkins, broken down by sport, included:
