Morning Session Was Easy
Today was the last day of two-a-days. We reported to work at 5 a.m. to set up for the first practice. Everybody was again in stadium and it was a very light practice, the players didn't even wear any pads.
It was mainly just a fast-paced version of a walk-through. There was a brief team period at the end, just some game scenarios. It was a short practice, just 90 minutes.
Afterwards, we picked up the ball bags, straightened up the field, and started practice laundry. A few people stayed behind to run the laundry while the others went to breakfast. A few managers came in during the day in shifts to cycle the laundry.
All of us returned at 4 p.m. to move some of the practice equipment in the stadium and to its usual positions on the lower fields. Later, we did the usual routine of putting the practice balls on the field after dinner.
During tonight's practice, we were in shells. It was similar to this morning's practice, but with slightly more contact. Tonight's team period was again competitive. I think we're looking alright.
