Blakeney Golf Classic Set For June 9

Troy football fans with a golfing addiction should mark their schedules for Monday, June 9, for the Larry Blakeney Golf Classic at Wynlakes Golf & country Club in Montgomery.

The tournament will feature Coach Blakeney and will raise money to support the Trojans football program. The event will include lunch prior to the tournament and an awards ceremony and reception following play.

The event will be a four-person scramble with a shotgun start at noon.

Registration is open through Wednesday, June 4. The cost is $250 per player or $1,000 for an entire team. Signage sponsorships are also available for $300.

Various prizes will be awarded following play and all players will receive a tournament gift bag.
