Trojans Suspended in Fourth Inning

The Trojans stormed out of the gate in the top of the first inning when freshman Adam Bryant led off with a single. He advanced to second on a groundout from Steven Felix and scored on a single from Bryan Miller. Beau Brooks followed with a walk and Daryl Otwell doubled in the runners to give

In the top of the fourth inning Brett Pierce reached on an infield singled and touched the plate on Bryant's third home run of the season. He belted a 3-2 fastball over the wall in right center to close the gap to 7-6
The Blue Raiders added a run in the third and fourth inning to take the 8-6 lead into Saturday afternoon.
The suspended game will be finished Saturday afternoon with the first pitch slated for 2 pm. The second game of the series will follow 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
