Trojans FINALLY Return Home to Face UAB

TROY, Ala. - The Troy Trojans will FINALLY return home after spending the last 11 contests on the road tonight as they play host to UAB.

“I was beginning to forget what Troy looks like,” head coach Bobby Pierce said. “This has been a long stretch on the road and it will be good to get back home and play in our own backyard.”

The Trojans (30-22) lost on March 25 to the Blazers (21-30) by a score of 10-5.

This will be the 37th meeting between the two schools with Troy holding the 20-16 overall advantage and the 13-3 advantage in Troy.

Troy will send senior Rob Brown (2-2, 4.31 ERA) to the hill in search of his third win of the year.

The Trojans are led at the plate by senior Bryan Miller who is batting .392 with 26 doubles, 11 home runs and 56 RBI. Miller was also named as the Sun Belt Conference Player of the week for the second consecutive week. Catcher Beau Brooks stands at .331 with nine bombs and 38 RBI. Freshman Adam Bryant broke the school's freshman hit record last weekend while batting .325.
