Troy Advances To Mobile, Come Support Trojans

TROY, Ala. - The only two lower seeded teams to win their opening round games in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament are headed to Mobile for the quarterfinals this weekend ... THE TROY UNIVERSITY MEN'S AND WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PROGRAMS!
Come be a part of the action and all of the festivities that go along with the Sun Belt Conference Tournament and March Madness. Tickets are on sale in the Troy University ticket office, and each team has been allotted a section of tickets in the Mitchell Center. For ticket information and a chance to sit with the Troy cheering section, make sure to get your tickets from the Troy University Ticket Office.
There have also been student tickets set aside on a first come-first serve basis at the Mitchell Center that will be given out on Saturday morning before the opening tip of the women's basketball tournament.
Besides the basketball tournament, there are a pair of events for fans attending the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, beginning Friday night with the Sun Belt Conference Pep Band Spectacular. The event will take place from 7 until 9 pm at the Langan Park Pavilion, and admission is free.
There will also be a Sun Belt Conference Alumni Reception from 10 am until noon on Sunday, March 9 at the USS Alabama Battleship, and admission is free.
The 11th-seeded Trojan women play against third-seeded Middle Tennessee Saturday night at 9 pm, the final game of the opening session. Meanwhile, the 12th-seeded Trojan men play fourth-seeded Middle Tennessee Sunday afternoon at 3 pm.
