Trojans Hit Road Again for LSU Tourney

TROY ? The Troy Trojan Men's basketball team will hit the road again for Thursday and Friday dates as part of LSU's Thanksgiving Tournament in Baton Rouge, La.
Troy (0-2) will play Centenary on Thursday at 4:30 PM and Alcorn State on Friday at 1:30 PM.
Centenary (0-2) is fresh off a 90-55 defeat at the hands of Baylor as part of ESPN's 24 Hours of College Basketball on Tuesday.
Alcorn State will face the host LSU Tigers on Thursday night before squaring off with the Trojans on Friday.
Troy head coach Don Maestri knows his team needs a win, but he is not throwing the towel in just yet.
“It will definitely help us with this team to get a win under our belts. It is definitely better to start off winning, but this season is far from over,” Maestri said.
After Thursday and Friday's games the Trojans will return home to face Georgia State on Tuesday in Troy before heading back to Baton Rouge for the second half of the tournament on Friday and Saturday of next week with dates against Northwestern State and LSU.
