Troy Athletics To Recognize 3.0 Club For Fall

At halftime of tonight's men's basketball game between Troy University and the University of Arkansas-Little Rock, Troy University Athletics will recognize 191 student-athletes who posted a 3.0 or better grade point average during the fall 2007 semester.
The athletes represent all 18 sports that Troy competes in as well as the cheerleading squad. Not including the 18 cheerleaders, there were 88 male student-athletes and 85 female student-athletes who posted GPAs of at least 3.0 during the fall.
The Trojan football team led with 30 players in the 3.0 club while the baseball team followed closely behind with 29 members. Soccer led the way for the women with 17 members of the club while softball followed with 14.
