Hilltoppers Defeat Trojans

The Trojans, (9-8, 0-1), opened match one against the Hilltoppers, (12-3, 1-0), with an upsetting loss ending with a score of, 30-17.
“During match two and three, we competed very hard against a great team,” Head Coach Sonny Kirkpatrick said. “After tonight we are now able to see where we stand against other teams in the conference.”
Match two sparked a new competitive side of the Trojans, but still ended up falling short of WKU, 30-25.
The Final match ended favoring the Hilltoppers once again with a score of, 30-23.
“In the third match I was very impressed with our girls because they kept fighting and did not give up, even when they knew we were down,” Kirkpatrick said.
