The Troy Trojans practiced for an hour and a half today as they are preparing for their first scrimmage of the fall Saturday morning.
"We want to get our guys some work tomorrow," head coach Larry Blakeney said. "I want our guys on defense to hit sombody full speed and I want our guys on offense to be full speed like they are playing in a game.."
Blakeney wants to work all phases of the team tomorrow in the heat.
"I even want our kickers to kick with a live rush in their faces," Blakeney said. "My goal is to run 100 or so plays and come out of it with everyone healthy. We can't afford to have any injuries at this stage of the camp."
The Trojans will begin the scrimmage at 10:30 and will conclude with the media immediately following. All practices and scrimmages are open to the public.
