Troy faces Alcorn State in consolation game

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - The Troy University women's basketball team faces Alcorn State Sunday evening at 5 pm in the consolation game of the Flint Hills Resources Islander Invitational.
The Trojans are coming off a disappointing 59-55 loss to UT-Pan American in the first game of the tournament, after finding themselves down by 16 points at one point in the second half. Senior Amy Lewis led the way for the Trojans with 21 points, all in the second half. Meanwhile, Alcorn State fell 66-61 in overtime to host Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

Injury Update:
All of the players on the Trojans roster will dress, with the exception of Lucy Lindley. The sophomore forward is listed as doubtful and will remain that way through the rest of this week.
