Troy Fans, Show Your True Colors! Wear Cardinal!
This Saturday, at Movie Gallery Veterans Stadium, the Troy Trojans will play their most important game of this season when they face Florida Atlantic at 1 p.m.
This game will be for the outright Sun Belt Conference Championship and a return trip to the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl. It will be the final home game for 18 seniors who have worked, sacrificed, sweated and bled since last December to give you the kind of team you can be proud of.
It is time for us to show those seniors how much we appreciate their efforts and, at the same time, show our support for them in their final home game. The stakes are the highest any Troy team has faced since moving to Division I-A, and the need for our support is at an equally high level.
There is no room for excuses this weekend. Troy fans need to be in the stands cheering on their team as they play for a conference title. It is time for all of us to show our true colors and support our team.
We need a packed stadium on Saturday, and that starts with every Troy fan. Buy tickets, bring friends and family members to the game with you, wear your cardinal clothes and come ready to cheer.
Coach Blakeney and the Trojans need your support, now more than ever.
Are you in?
I hope so. See you this Saturday.
Go Trojans!
Sincerely,
Steve Dennis
Director of Athletics
