TROY, Ala. - The Troy University volleyball team will travel to Ruston, La., and Hattiesburg, Miss., over the weekend for matches at Louisiana-Tech and Southern Mississippi.

The Trojans (4-7) will play two matches on Friday at Louisiana Tech. First the Trojans will face Louisiana Tech at 12 p.m. and then at 4 p.m. Troy plays Stephen F. Austin.

Then on Saturday, Troy will travel to Hattiesburg, Miss., for matches with UCF and Southern Mississippi. The Trojans will play the Golden Knights at 10 a.m. and the Golden Eagles at 2 p.m.

Last week, the Trojans posted a record of 2-3 defeating conference foe Louisiana-Monroe and Jackson State. Troy dropped matches to Mississippi State, UAB and Grambling State.

Sophomore Aubre Smith and freshman Meghan Gilroy led the Trojans at the Mississippi State Microtel Classic recording 85 kills between them and 20 blocks.
