On May 13, the Troy University soccer team will embark on a 12-day trip to Italy. Not only will these student-athletes have the chance to see some of the world's most historic landmarks, but they will also have the opportunity to compete against international competition in five friendly matches.

The trip's highlights include:

Four nights in Milan

Three nights in Montecatini

Friendly matches with teams from Como, Florence, Milan, Pisa and Rome

A full-time multi-lingual tour escort

Guided tour of Como, including Castle Medici and the Domo

Shopping in Milan

A drive down Italy's Mediterranean shore

Guided tour of Florence

Tour of Pisa, including the Leaning Tower

Tour of Rome, including the Coliseum and Trevi's Fountain

Visit to the Vatican, including admission to the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Square
