Sammy Sharp and Cedric Jackson board the shortest of Troy's three flights Tuesday, Delta 4642 to Atlanta.	Sammy Sharp, Ralph Jennings and Brandon Hazzard indicated the Trojans' final destination -- Fairbanks, Alaska.
4,320 miles and exactly 17 hours after leaving Trojan Arena, Josh Williams shows his enthusiasm over arriving in Fairbanks.	A temperature of minus-seven and a few inches of snow on the ground greeted the Trojans when they arrived.
Anyone seen the sun? At 7:30 this morning, it is nowhere to found.	There it is! This picture at 9 a.m proves it does come out. it won't stay long, though, as sunset is at 3:44. The local paper lists the "length of day" as 6 hours, 19 minutes and 9 seconds. .
High noon in Alaska isn't so high.	And then it is gone... On a cloudy day, 15 minutes after sunset is dusk..
The Trojans got their first look at the Carlson Center with a 90-minute workout there on Wednesday afternoon.	The front entrance of Carlson Arena is adorned with an ice sculpture that represents each team.
Don Maestri and the seven other coaches were guest speakers at the BP Top of the World Tip-off Luncheon Thursday afternoon.	Troy conducted a pep rally and assembly for the students of Monroe Catholic High School and Immaculate Conception Grade School. Each of the competing teams is paired with a local school as part of the Adopt-a-School program.
The Malone cheerleading squad formed a tunnel for the player introductions.	Head Coach Don Maestri explained one of the games that the Trojans played during the pep rally.
Jessica and Cedric Jackson won the Gotcha game... earning a Troy t-shirt for Jessica.	The Trojans looked on as the Monroe girls team competed in a free throw shooting contest against the boys team.

The scenery just 10 minutes outside of Fairbanks.	From among the 40-some houses at this mushing, the Trojans thought this one was the most amusing.

Cedric Jackson tells Santa and Mrs. Claus that he has been a good boy during the Trojans' visit to North Pole, Alaska.	The sign at a local bank indicates a temperature of -18 on Saturday night. During the Trojans' stay, the highest temperature was -4 and the low was -26.
The last sunrise of the Trojans' trip to Alaska -- at 9:45 a.m.	These aren't electric cars -- the coach's courtesy car is plugged in at night to help keep the engine from freezing up.

Troy's Alyson Steed was selected as the tournament's top athletic trainer. The annual award honors UAF's long-time athletic trainer.	Richard Chaney and O'Darien Bassett were named the the 2006 BP Top of the World Classic All-Tournament team.
Troy picked up some serious hardware at the 2006 BP Top of the World Classic -- third-place team (held by Jerome Odem), two All-Tournament team members (Richard Chaney and O'Darien Bassett) and Outstanding Athletic Trainer (Alyson Steed).	Troy's host family was Rick Boyles and Chris Sadler and their children. Their hospitality was a main reason this was the trip of a lifetime for the Trojan players, coaches and support staff.
The Trojans' long journey home began with another Alaska Airlines flight..	Ralph Jennings and Patrick Phillips took advantage of a long layover in Seattle on Monday morning.
