Trojans to Face Lady Toppers in First Sun Belt Road Game

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The Troy University women's basketball team will play in its first conference road game when they play at Western Kentucky on Thursday at 7 p.m. The Trojans (7-7, 1-2) are still looking for their first win away from Trojan Arena, as they are 0-5 on the road this season.
The Trojans are coming off an 81-69 loss to Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday. The Trojans shot a season-low 28.9 (11-of-38) from the floor in the first half of that loss. Troy trailed by as many as 28 points, but fought back to within 10 in the second half.
Western Kentucky (11-5, 1-2) is coming off a 76-62 loss at Arkansas State on Saturday. The Lady Toppers hold a perfect 7-0 record at E.A. Diddle Arena.
Thursday's game will be the first meeting between the Trojans and Lady Toppers.
