Hamm Named Director of Promotions & Event Management

Troy University Director of Athletics Steve Dennis announced the hiring of Wes Hamm as Director of Promotions & Event Management for the Troy University Department of Athletics.
Hamm comes to Troy from the University of Alabama where he worked in the Athletics Department's marketing office as both an intern and graduate assistant for the past three years. While at Alabama, Hamm worked in event management for the sports of baseball, men's and women's basketball, gymnastics, football, soccer, softball and volleyball.
Hamm was also involved in the implementation of an on-line auction which has raised more than $140,000 for the Alabama Athletics Department in two years.
Hamm replaces Josh Steltenpohl in the Promotions & Events Management position at Troy. Steltenpohl left the Troy Athletics Department in June to go into private business.
