Troy To Host Iowa State In Two-Game Series

TROY, Ala. - The Cyclones of Iowa State will travel to Troy, Ala. to take on the Trojans in a two-game series Thursday and Friday at the Lady Trojans Softball Complex.
Both teams head into the matchup coming off of a trip the Florida State Invitational this past weekend. The two teams did not face each other as they were in different brackets.
Iowa State dropped games against Radford, St. Joseph's, and host Florida State before defeating Eastern Kentucky and Florida A&M.
Matchups with Florida State and Florida A&M that were supposed to take place after the tournament was over were cancelled due to rain.
Troy won three and loss two in five games at the FSU Invitational. Troy lost its opening game against Southern Illinois 2-0 in ten innings and dropped the third-place game against Radford 6-5 in 11 innings.
This will be the first meeting between the two schools since Troy moved to Division I in 1994
