"The players hustled during their only practice this week," interim head coach Michael izumi said.
"Kristen Fleming will stay in her middle blocker position during the road trip."
Troy as a team is currently leading the Sun Belt Conference in service aces with a 2.06 per game average, thanks in part to freshman setter Meghan Washlow (Carpentersville, Ill.) and her .51 average.
Two other Trojans have chipped in as well. Sophomore outside hitter Eliza Zwettler (Madison, Wis) (.45) and sophomore libero Bridget Reidy (St.Charles, Mo.) (.35) averages have kept the Trojans in every contest this season.
Troy's match time against North Texas is set for 7 p.m.
Sunday's match against Denver will begin at 1 p.m.
"The girls know they can't let up on this trip," Izumi said.
Troy's final regular season home match, (Senior Night) will tip next Friday at 7 p.m. The Trojans will bid farewell to its only senior, Megan Smart (Gainesville, Fla.) that night.
Admission to Trojan volleyball matches is free.
