It is not often that an offensive lineman gets a chance to shine in the spotlight in college football.
Troy senior Junior Louissaint got that opportunity on September 9 when he picked up a fumble and rumbled 63-yards for a game-tying touchdown against then 19th ranked Missouri on national television.
Louissaint's run literally ran away with the voting that week for the Pontiac Game Changing Performance of the Week on ESPN.com, earning Troy University a $5,000 donation to the general scholarship fund.
Louissaint was honored with the play of the day on ESPN's SportsCenter and was also selected as the top Play of the Week. He earned a coveted helmet sticker from Mark May on College GameDay Final on Saturday night.
Now Troy fans, and football fans across the country, will have one final chance to relive Junior's run to glory. The play is one of six finalists for the Pontiac Game Changing Performance of the Year.
Fans can go to ESPN.com and vote for Louissaint's run through the Orange Bowl on January 4. Fans are limited to one vote per week in until the end of voting. The play that receives the most votes will earn a $100,000 donation to the general scholarship fund for that university.
Make sure to let your voice be heard, and spread the word to vote for Junior Louissaint as the Pontiac Game Changing Performance of the Year.
