Chaquita Alexander is in her first season as a graduate assistant coach at Troy. Alexander played with the Trojans from 1999-2003, and was a first-team all-Atlantic Sun selection as a senior. In her four seasons with Troy, Alexander scored 1,362 points, eighth all-time at Troy.
Alexander's name is scattered throughout the Trojans record book, as she holds the school mark for three-point goals made in a game, seven, season, 189, and career, 512. She is second all-time in three-point percentage, shooting 36.9 percent from behind the line in her career. She also stands fifth in steals in a career, with a 1.4 steals-per-game average. She is also fourth all-time in free-throw percentage, connecting 73.2 percent of the time from the charity stripe.
Alexander led the Trojans with a 17.2 points-per-game average as a senior, helping the Trojans to a 16-12 overall record and an 11-5 A-Sun mark.
Alexander played for head coach Michael Murphy in her senior season.
Alexander graduated from Troy in May 2003 with a degree in business. She is pursuing a Master's in Business Administration at Troy.
