THE TROJANS NEED YOUR HELP TO GO TO A BOWL!
11/23/2004 12:00:00 AM | Football
The 2004 Troy Trojans football season has been memorable. The Trojans went on the road and beat Marshall to start the year and then came home to beat nationally-ranked Missouri on ESPN.
Trojans fans played a big part in that win, and tore down the goal posts at Movie Gallery Veterans Stadium in celebration of the victory.
Now, the Trojans need your help. Bowl season is rapidly approaching, and Division IA teams around the country are getting in position to make an exciting trip for the holidays.
The 2004 Trojans could become the first team in Troy football history to earn a Division IA bowl invitation, but they need your help. One of the primary factors bowls look at when choosing teams is how many fans will travel to the game. As one of the newest members of Division IA, we don't have a past history to show the bowl committees.
That is where you, the loyal Trojan fans, come in. We need your commitment to purchase tickets should the Trojans go to the Las Vegas Bowl, the Champs Sports Bowl, the PlainsCapital Fort Worth Bowl, the EV1.Net Houston Bowl, the Independence Bowl or some other holiday classic.
Just imagine the excitement of spending part of the holidays in a great city, with plenty of activities, and the thrill of witnessing the Troy Trojans compete in their first bowl game.
You can help the Trojans get there by filling out the bowl ticket pledge card below and sending it in to the Troy University Department of Athletics.
Help get the Trojans to a bowl game by making your voice heard today!
Mail your pledge to purchase bowl game tickets to Troy Athletics, Tine W. Davis Field House, Troy, AL 36082.
