PENSACOLA, Fla. – After winning the regular season title, No. 1 Troy men's basketball went back-to-back as Sun Belt Conference Tournament Champions with a dominant 77-61 victory over No. 10 Georgia Southern on Monday night in the Pensacola Bay Center, punching its ticket to the NCAA Tournament.

Thomas Dowd was named the SBC Tournament Most Outstanding Player after a 23-point, 13-rebound performance in the championship game. He shot 8-of-12 from the field and 5-of-6 at the charity stripe. Jerrell Bellamy also earned SBC All-Tournament Team with 15 points on 7-of-11 shooting, along with two steals and three rebounds against the Eagles.

2025-26 marks the second straight tournament championship and fourth in program history. The Trojans have also gone back-to-back for regular-season titles.
