Hogan Vivier enters her second season as assistant coach for the Troy women's soccer team, after a four-year standout career at Brown University. A native of Rhode Island, Vivier also worked for The Wheeler school both while attending Brown and following her graduation, and has worked camps at Brown University, Dartmouth University and at the ODP Region 1 camp.
Â
Since arriving at Troy, Vivier has been a critical part of a Troy coaching staff that engineered one of the largest turnarounds in NCAA D-I soccer in 2019-20. With the help of Vivier, the Trojans increased their win total by seven games in 2019-20 and allowed just 16 goals in 18 regular season games. In addition to her tactical responsibilities, Vivier also was responsible for monitoring Troy’s in-game fatigue rates, and planning Troy’s cool-down periods. Â
Â
Vivier worked directly with all-conference selection Kate Eubanks and Sun Belt second team All-Conference honoree Haleigh Mercer. In addition to Eubanks and Mercer, midfielders Maddie Brune and Kiersten Edlund also received All-SBC honors.
Â
Vivier has a USSF "E" license, and is in the process of pursuing her Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Global Business International Management. She has worked at Brown women's soccer clinics and as an ACT at Region 1 camp coaching and evaluating players to be selected for the Regional Team.
