His best throw and finish was at the Jaguar Invitational where he finished first with 19.09m.Β Outdoor -Β Alvernaz finished in the top 10 in seven of his nine hammer throw competitions. His best finish was second at the Samford Alabama Challenge with 58.81m and his best throw was fourth at the Florida Relays with 59.83m.
