Marshall Moorhouse has been named the director of basketball operations in July 2019.
Moorhouse comes to Troy after being at Texas A&M since Aug. 2013. Most recently, Moorhouse served as the video coordinator in the 2018-19 season.
In that role, Moorhouse was in charge of four student workers, created scouting reports and film edits for each opponent, played a major role in creating recruiting graphics, mail-outs and schedules for the coaches, created practice and workouts schedules and was the main point of contact for individual and father-son camps during the summer of 2018.
Prior to being promoted to video coordinator, Moorhouse was the graduate manager from 2016-2018. As the graduate manager he produced recruiting graphics, assisted coaches with video edits, opponent scouts and film breakdown, and helped in on-campus recruiting visits for all high school recruits. Moorhouse began his time at Texas A&M in 2013 as he was a student manager until 2015.
After serving as student manager, Moorhouse was named the head varsity basketball coach at KOR Education School in College Station, Texas in Aug. 2015. In his one season at the helm, Moorhouse coached a team with only three upperclassmen to a playoff victory.
A native of Corpus Christi, Texas, Moorhouse received his bachelor’s degree in business administration in business management in 2016 and his masters in sport management in 2017 from Texas A&M.
