• Spent two seasons at Pinson Valley high school and two seasons at Midfield, where he played for head coach Darrell Barber
• Followed Barber to Pinson Valley from Midfield in 2018 when Barber was named head coach

• Named the Alabama Class 6A Player of the Year the last two seasons
• Also was named the Alabama Class 3A Player of the Year in 2017-18
