Made 24 appearances on the mound; with four starts … Started the season opener against Xavier and fanned seven batters in 4.1 innings of work … Struck out 48 batters while walking only 16 (3.00 K/BB) in 47.1 innings on the season … Tied for the team lead for fewest walks allowed with those 16 … His 24 appearances were tied for the second-most by a Trojan pitcher … Allowed only five runs and struck out 20 batters in his last 10 regular-season appearances
