2014 (Junior): Named to the All-Sun Belt Team as an honorable mention selection … Finished ninth in the Sun Belt with five sacks and 12th with 9.5 tackles for loss … Led the Trojans with four quarterback hurries and added a pair of pass break ups … Started nine games; missed Georgia Southern game and wasn’t able to start two others due to injury … Tallied 48 tackles and a forced fumble on the season … Recorded a season-high eight tackles to go along with a tackle for loss at South Alabama … Monster game in Troy’s victory over New Mexico State as he finished with six tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks and a forced fumble … Recorded multiple tackles in 10-of-11 games played (no tackles in very limited snaps against Georgia State in first game back from injury) … Finished with five or more tackles in seven games … Donated over 10 inches of his hair prior to the season to Locks of Love in honor of his uncle Steve Spruiel, who passed away from cancer in Dec. 2009
