Moves from the field to a position as student coach this season. In 2008 he saw action in 40 games for the Trojans, starting 23. He finished the year with a .226 average with two home runs and 15 RBI. Season highlight was a grand slam homer he hit against ULM.
Before coming to Troy, Kelley played two seasons for Steve Helms at LBW Community College where he hit .320 as a freshman and .350 as a sophomore. He was named to the All-Region Academic Team and All-American Academic Team.
Kelley is a native of Opp and was a two-time All-District player at Opp HS and was part of three Area Championship teams. He was named MVP and was captain of the team his senior year.
Kelley was born on October 7,1986, and he is the son of Craig and Cathy Kelley. He has one brother, Blake Henderson (36) and one sister, Adria Henderson (31). Is a collaboration major.
