Troy Baseball Announces Fall Exhibition Slate

TROY, Ala. — Troy Baseball officially unveiled its four-game fall schedule on Friday, highlighted by matchups against three SEC programs, two neutral-site games at Minor League ballparks, and a home contest at Riddle-Pace Field.
The Trojans open the fall traveling to Nashville, Tenn. to take on Tennessee on Sunday, Oct. 11, at 4 p.m. The contest will be played at First Horizon Park, home of the Nashville Sounds, the Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.
The following Saturday, Oct. 17, the Trojans return home for a matchup against Samford at Riddle-Pace Field starting at noon.
On Saturday, Oct. 24, the Trojans head to Pensacola, Fla., for another clash with Florida at Blue Wahoos Stadium, with the start time to be announced at a later date. Just months after knocking off the Gators in the 2026 NCAA Gainesville Regional, Troy faces Florida at the Blue Wahoos Stadium, home of the Miami Marlins Double-A affiliate.
To round out the fall slate, the Trojans head to Baton Rouge, La., on Sunday, Nov. 8, for a 1 p.m. matchup against LSU at Alex Box Stadium.
"First off, the NCAA allowing us to get four outside competitions is such a great thing for our sport," head coach Skylar Meade said. "As it pertains to us this fall, it allows us to challenge ourselves even more than ever playing three SEC programs and an always outstanding Samford challenge here in Troy. Getting to play at the Box, Nashville Sounds, and down in Trojan territory in Pensacola with the Wahoos should be lots of fun. We're very excited for Trojan fans to see this year's team starting Oct. 11."

The Trojans return to the diamond fresh off a remarkable first-ever trip to Omaha in the College World Series. Troy earned its first Omaha victory against Ole Miss at iconic Charles Schwab Field, eventually capping off the historic run with a program-best No. 6 national ranking in both the Baseball America and NCBWA final polls.
Looking ahead to the 2027 season, the Trojans were able to retain 18 players from the 2026 roster, including key starters such as Jimmy Janicki, Jabe Boroff, Houston Markham, and Hayden Smith.
Troy added 13 transfers this offseason and earned a second straight Top 25 national transfer class ranking from 64Analytics.
The Trojans also brought in five first-year recruits, with infielder Kam Jenkins and left-handed pitcher Tyner Flynt coming in ranked inside Prep Baseball's "Top 150 Incoming Freshman List" at No. 74 and No. 98 respectively.
