TROY, Ala. - Troy soccer rounded out its 2026 coaching staff by adding Keanan Ainge as goalkeepers goal, head coach Jake Wyman announced Monday. Ainge comes to Troy following one season as an assistant coach at Spring Hill College.
"We are excited to add another great coach to the Troy staff," Wyman said. "Keanan will do a great job leading our goalkeepers and play a vital role in the team's success. The fall season is almost here, and our staff is ready to have a proper go at it."
Ainge helped the Badgers to a 7-4-7 record in 2025, the team's highest winning percentage since 2007. Spring Hill goalkeepers limited opponents to just 0.72 goals per game while keeping 12 clean sheets. Under his watch, goalkeeper Carlotta Stark surpassed the program record for most career saves with 286.
"I'm incredibly excited to be part of this program and can't wait to get started," Ainge said. "I'd like to thank Coach Wyman for the opportunity to join his staff. I'm looking forward to help build a successful future for Troy soccer."
Ainge spent three seasons as a graduate assistant at the University of Jamestown in North Dakota from 2022-24, where he worked with both men's and women's goalkeepers.
The Cambridge, England native earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from Jamestown, where he also played soccer.
The 2026 Troy soccer season gets underway on August 13, when the Trojans travel to Murfreesboro, Tenn., to take on Middle Tennessee State. The home opener is set for August 23 at 12 p.m. against Stetson.
