Troy Baseball Alters Schedule for App State Series, Friday’s Opener Pushed to Saturday Doubleheader

TROY, Ala. - Troy Baseball's Friday series opener against App State has been postponed due to weather.
The Trojans and Mountaineers will now play a doubleheader at Riddle-Pace Field beginning at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Sunday's series finale has also been adjusted, with first pitch pushed back an hour from its original 12 p.m. start to 1 p.m.
Troy enters the weekend having won four straight Sun Belt series and sits at fourth place in the conference standings at 12-9. With three conference weekends remaining, the Trojans have a chance to climb as App State sits one game ahead of Troy at 13-8 and is tied with No. 12 Southern Miss for second place.
