Men’s Tennis Earns No. 2 Seed in Sun Belt Championship

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Troy men's tennis has earned the No. 2 seed for the Sun Belt Championships, set to take place in Rome, Ga., later this week.
The No. 2-seeded Trojans will take on No. 7 Southern Miss on Friday at 1 p.m. CT in the quarterfinals. Semifinal matches are scheduled for Saturday, with the Sun Belt Championship set for Sunday at 12 p.m.
Troy has already defeated the Golden Eagles this season, earning a 4-2 win at home on March 29. The Trojans have compiled a 21-4 overall record this season and are 2-0 against Sun Belt opponents.
Before heading to Rome, Troy will wrap up its regular season on Tuesday with a road match at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.
