Quiroga Leads Troy on Day One at Betsy Rawls

AUSTIN, TEXAS – Constanza Quiroga carded four birdies in the second round to lead the Troy women's golf team on day one of the Betsy Rawls Invitational, hosted by Texas at the UT Golf Course. Play was called due to darkness before teams were able to finish their second rounds.

Troy is in 15th place in the field of 16, and Quiroga is tied for 40th to lead all Trojan golfers. She shot 17-over in the first round but bounced back in dramatic fashion to shoot just 1-over in the second round thanks to birdies on the third, sixth, eighth and 11th.

Manya Saini is tied for 67th place at 26-over, Victoria Stutts is tied for 71st place at 27-over, Laura Fangmeyer is tied for 74th place at 28-over and Katelynn Altese is in 86th place through 17 holes of the second round.

Teams will finish the second round first thing Tuesday morning and carry straight into the third and final round immediately following.
