Troy Begins Final Homestand, Hosts Louisiana Tuesday Night

TROY, Ala. – Troy men's basketball begins its final week of the regular season Tuesday as the Trojans host Louisiana at 6 p.m. The game will stream on ESPN+ and air on the Troy Sports Media Network.
The matchup marks the first of two pivotal home contests to close Troy's 18-game Sun Belt schedule. The Trojans can secure at least a share of the regular-season title by winning both games this week. Following Tuesday's contest, Troy will host ULM on Friday evening.
App State (11–6 SBC), South Alabama (10–6 SBC), and Marshall (10–6 SBC) join Troy in the top four of the Sun Belt standings entering the week.
Troy (18–11, 10–6 SBC) fell 65–54 to South Alabama in Mobile on Saturday. The Cardinal and White struggled offensively, posting their lowest field-goal percentage of the season (24.5 percent) and going the final seven minutes without a made field goal.
Despite the loss, Cooper Campbell delivered one of his top performances of the season, scoring 26 points and knocking down a career-high seven 3-pointers.
Louisiana (10-19, 7-9 SBC) took down Texas State on Saturday afternoon, 67-54 – halting the Bobcats' seven game winning streak. Dorian Finister finished with a statline of 15 points, five assists, and five rebounds in the win.
Troy is 11-23 all-time against Louisiana.

Louisiana snapped Texas State's seven game winning streak on Saturday, winning 67-54 at home. The Ragin' Cajuns are 5-4 over their last nine in Sun Belt play, after starting the conference slate 2-5. Dorian Finister leads Louisiana in scoring, averaging 14.5 points while adding 4.7 rebounds per game. Following Tuesday's game, the Cajuns will wrap up its regular season at Arkansas State on Friday.

- Scott Cross is in his seventh season at the helm of the Trojans, amassing a 121-98 record during his time at Troy. Over the last four seasons, Troy has won 20-plus games every year, which includes 10-plus Sun Belt wins each season.
- Troy defeated Louisiana 90–70 in Lafayette on Jan. 10. Six Trojans scored in double figures as Troy outrebounded the Cajuns 42–19 and led for all but 19 seconds.
