Volleyball Returns to Trojan Arena for Series Against ULM

TROY, Ala. — Troy volleyball is back in Trojan Arena for a weekend series against ULM beginning on Friday, Oct. 9 and Saturday, Oct. 10.
Troy (8-5, 3-1 SBC) rides into the weekend on the heels of an impressive road sweep against Southern Miss. First-year outside hitter Isa Ruether took over in Hattiesburg, leading the Trojans in kills in both contests and putting up a career-high 18 kills last Friday. Behind her 33-kill weekend, Troy secured its first conference road sweep since 2024, matching their previous mark which also came against the Golden Eagles.
Behind the service line, the Trojans have thrived this season. The Cardinal and White have tallied 92 aces on the season at an even 2.00 aces/set rate. This marks ranks 20th nationally and second in the Sun Belt. Kalina Calvillo leads the charge with 20 aces on the season, followed closely by Olivia Kwiatkowski who has notched three aces in four of her past five matches.
ULM (7-11, 1-3 SBC) and Troy will square off for the 29th and 30th times this weekend, with the Trojans owning a 23-5 advantage in the all-time series. While the teams split last season's matchups, Troy has dominated the series in recent years, winning 10 of the last 11 meetings between the two programs.
