Volleyball Earns AVCA Team Academic Award, Honor Roll Distinction

TROY, Ala. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) has announced its annual academic honors, with Troy Volleyball earning both the Team Academic Award and a spot on the AVCA Honor Roll.
The Division I Honor Roll distinction is awarded to programs ranking in the top 20% of team GPAs. To qualify for the Team Academic Award, teams must maintain a GPA of 3.30 or higher.
Troy Volleyball posted an impressive 3.77 GPA last fall and followed it with a 3.78 in the spring.
This marks the seventh consecutive year Troy has earned the Team Academic Award, with six of those seasons also receiving Honor Roll recognition.
The 2025 Troy Volleyball season is set to begin on Aug. 30 when the Trojans take on Georgia, with the home opener on Saturday, Sept. 6 against Jackson State at 2 p.m.
