Troy Wraps Up Day One at the USF Alumni Invitational

TAMPA, Fla. – Troy finishes day one of the USF Alumni Invitational. The Trojans finished the day with several personal bests, competing in eight total events at the USF Track & Field Stadium.

Cadi Rowe placed second in the women's 5000 meter with a personal best of 16:53.48 to move up to second all-time in Troy history. Shanyah Washington also ran a personal best time of 23.80 to move up to fourth all-time in the women's 200 meter. Haley Wilson ran a time of 2:11.63 to move up to fourth all-time in the women's 800 meter.

Whitney Clark (38.37m) and Tyler McKinnell (57.52m) picked up a pair of top eight finishes in the javelin throw.

Catherine Forbes also improved her 200-meter time with a time of 24.62. Evan Brown (21.58), Jermaine Nelson (21.83), Sylvester Smith (22.29), and Noah Putnam (22.41) posted personal bests in the men's 200.

The Trojans are back at it tomorrow with the first event beginning at 11 a.m.
