TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Troy men's tennis team continued play at the ITA Southern Regional on Saturday, with the duo of Luciano Alcocer and Yeray Andres Pastor moving into the main draw doubles round of 16.

Alcocer and Andres Pastor trounced a pair from UAB, taking an 8-1 win to move on in the bracket. The pair will take on their next opponent Sunday afternoon.

Although Stephen Tavares Noale and Henrique de Brito made it to the round of 32, they lost 8-2 to a Mississippi State duo featuring former Trojan Mario Martinez Serrano.

Troy was eliminated from the singles main draw, with Alcocer dropping a 7-5, 6-1 match to South Alabama's Braden Hannig and Thiago Drozdowski falling to North Alabama's Lachlan Brain.
