TROY, Ala. – Troy Football continued to add to its roster Tuesday with the addition of seven transfers to join the four players who were announced Monday.
Â
Tuesday's wave of players includes three players with Power 4 experience, a double-digit game starter in the best conference at the FCS ranks, a pair of deep-threat receivers and a lockdown corner from the DII ranks.
Â
Head coach Gerad Parker's latest portal additions are Kaleno Levine (CB, Missouri State), Taleeq Robbins (DE, Houston / Ole Miss), Steven Sannieniola (S, Vanderbilt), Patrick Screws Jr. (OL, Georgia Tech), Kristian Tate (WR – Delaware State); Tray Taylor (WR – Coastal Carolina), Jaquez White (CB – Washburn).
Â
Levine stated 10 games at corner for Missouri State last season as the Bears finished just a game out of first place in the Missouri Valley Conference, which featured the No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 seeds in the FCS Playoffs, including the eventual National Champion.
Â
Robbins played in 10 games at Houston in 2023, including four starts for the Cougars in their inaugural Big 12 season. He began his career at Ole Miss before spending a season at Northwest Mississippi Community College.
Â
Sannieniola played a key role on special teams for Vanderbilt this past season in addition to a defensive role as a freshman in 2022, while Screws Jr. spent two years at Georgia Tech learning the Yellow Jackets' system.
Â
The two newest wide receivers to the program, Tate and Taylor, spent last season at Delaware State and Coastal Carolina, combining for almost 700 yards and four touchdowns, while White started 21 games over his two-year career at Washburn.
Â
Troy lost just three players to the portal following the 2024 season who played a significant number of snaps. In addition to this first wave of portal additions, Troy signed 15 players in December in what ranks as On3's top recruiting class in the Sun Belt based on the average rating of players signed.
