1/13/2025 3:53:00 PM | Football
TROY, Ala. – Troy Football head coach Gerad Parker announced Monday the addition of four players through the transfer portal, three of which have SEC experience, including a two-time CFP National Champion.
The initial wave of transfers to campus for the Trojans includes David Daniel-Sisavanh (S, Georgia), Deairich Jackson Jr. (DE, Coffeeville CC), Vysen Lang (OL, Tennessee) and Garner Langlo (OL, App State / Auburn).
Daniel-Sisavanah won CFP National Championships at Georgia in 2021 and 2022 and played more than 440 defensive snaps in his career with the Bulldogs. Jackson Jr. earned all-conference honors in his lone season at Coffeeville CC, where he totaled double-digit tackles for loss and led the Red Ravens to a league title.
Troy's two additions in the trenches both bring SEC experience as Lang, a Pike Road, Ala., native, played in a pair of games as a true freshman at Tennessee, while Langlo began his career at Auburn before starting 10 games at App State in 2024.
Troy lost just three players to the portal following the 2024 season who played a significant number of snaps. In addition to this first wave of portal additions, Troy signed 15 players in December in what ranks as On3's top recruiting class in the Sun Belt based on the average rating of players signed.
