TROY, Ala. – Troy's annual High School Band Day is set for Saturday, Sept. 21, when the Trojans host Florida A&M in The Vet. This year's event will once again provide high school band students from throughout the Southeast with a chance to experience gameday alongside the Sound of the South.
High school bands that attend will have an opportunity to participate in a pregame practice with the Sound of the South on the football practice fields. During this time, they will receive instruction from the Sound of the South staff and participate alongside current members of the famed Sound of the South.
As part of the game, students will be seated in the South End Zone of The Vet directly next to the Sound of the South. Halftime will feature one of the highlights of the Fall as the Sound of the South will be joined by all the High School Band Day participants for a stirring halftime performance.
High School Bands can register for the event by visiting TroyTrojans.com/BandDay, while family and friends of participants in Band Day can purchase game tickets by visiting TroyTrojans.com/Promo and using the code BANDDAY.
