HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Laura Fangmeyer shot up the leaderboard on Tuesday as she led Troy in the second round of the Huntsville.org Intercollegiate at the RTJ Hampton Cove Highlands Course. The Trojans are tied for fourth place heading into Wednesday's final round.

Fangmeyer carded a pair of birdies, both on the front nine, and shot 3-over 75 on the day when the average score across all golfers was an 80.78. The Trojan sophomore started the day in 45^th place after shooting 78 in the opening round but finished the day tied for 19^th place.

Alyssa Mercado maintained her standing at the top of Troy's card after shooting 6-over on the day, slipping into eighth place at 4-over for the tournament, while Bruna Roqueta is tied for 28^th place at 11-over par after shooting 79 on Tuesday.

Troy was 24-over par as a team on Tuesday, dropping one spot into a tie for fourth place. Lipscomb leads the event at 9-over, followed by Austin Peay (+26) and Jacksonville (+30), while Tennessee Tech and Samford are tied with Troy at 33-over par.

Manya Saini and Katelynn Altese are tied for 34^th place at 12-over for the week, shooting 81 and 80, respectively, on Tuesday.

Troy will play a foursome along with Tennessee Tech, Oakland and Belmont, with the first group going off the first tee box at 9 a.m. in Wednesday's final round.
