Quotable – Head Coach Marc Davis
"It was a good start for the women. We brought many newcomers to the team to get their feet wet. There were some veteran members of the team that competed as well who showed great promise for the season."
"We have a young team. We have to develop and give as many opportunities as possible. The team competed well and for each other and that is what you look for. I cannot wait to get back in the second semester to compete. Tomorrow morning, we have our intra-squad meet back on campus. These kids will compete once again along with the rest of their teammates in what could be a very spirited competition."
Next Up
The Trojans will get a break for the holidays before returning to action at the UAB Blazer Invitational in Birmingham, Ala., on January 11.
