Troy Soccer Closes Season with 0-0 Draw Against Arkansas State

TROY, Ala. - The Troy soccer team finished its 2024 season on a positive note on Thursday as the Trojan defense had another clean sheet in a 0-0 draw with Arkansas State.
Troy has now recorded a shutout in back-to-back games, while goalkeeper Nittany Vega, who had three saves tonight, saved all six shots on goal that came her way in the past two matches.
While the Trojans didn't find the back of the net on Thursday, they weren't without opportunities as they recorded 17 shots and a season-high nine shots on goal. Jiselle Daniels led the team with five shots while Danielle Trovato picked up a career-high two shots on goal.
Before the match, Riley Rojahn, Olivia Simpson and Une Georgsen were honored on senior night while fifth-year seniors Gabrielle Chartier and Delaney Wells were also celebrated in a pre-game ceremony.
Troy finishes the 2024 campaign with a 5-10-2 record and a 1-8-1 Sun Belt record.
