Troy Athletics Announces Promotions for Men's Basketball Season Opener for Nov. 4

TROY, Ala. – Troy men's basketball opens its 2024-25 season on Monday, Nov. 4, against Toledo in Trojan Arena, and Troy Athletics is rolling out the red carpet for fans with ticket specials, give-a-ways and one of the nation's top halftime performers.
Troy was selected third in the Sun Belt Preseason Coaches Poll and received one first place vote. It's the highest the Trojans have placed since the 2017-18 season, where they were also tabbed third with one first place vote. The Trojans are the only team in the Sun Belt who have won 20-plus games and 10-plus conference games in each of the last three seasons.
The Trojans are returning 12 players from its 2023-24 squad that finished the regular season in third place.

In-Game Entertainment
The first 2,000 fans inside Trojan Arena will receive a Troy Trojans branded light stick to use during lights-out situations, including pregame player introductions and key timeouts.
Additionally, Troy's Homecoming Week winners will be honored during the game.
Halftime Entertainment
The Amazing Sladek – America's oldest daredevil acrobat will perform his death-defying tower of chairs routine during halftime. One of the most popular basketball entertainers, The Amazing Sladek has performed on America's Got Talent, the NBA Finals, numerous NCAA conference tournaments and several of the largest venues within college basketball and the NBA.
